Help increase the life of your lamp by not touching the lens with your bare hands. Body oil may reduce lamp life. We recommend leaving the lamp in its protective packaging until you are ready to install the new lamp in the housing.
Make sure your TV and related surround sound equipment are plugged into a good quality surge protector as voltage spikes are likely to damage your lamp and other expensive electronics.
Follow your TV manufacturer?s instructions regarding maintaining proper ventilation around your TV. Make sure all TV air vents are cleaned periodically to help maintain proper airflow.
